Successful completion of the qualification will allow you to apply for a Salesperson’s licence through the Real Estate Authority (REA).

The fees for this course are $1,395 including GST.

After we receive your documents, we’ll send you a letter of offer and payment instructions. Once your payment is confirmed, your enrolment will be complete!
You will cover:
- Operate as a real estate salesperson with knowledge of land ownership, land issues, building structures and council compliance.
- Build and manage a database of contacts to establish and maintain a presence in the marketplace.
- Conduct property inspections and appraisals
- Facilitate real estate transactions through to settlement using appropriate methods of sale.
- Comply with New Zealand law and standards relevant to the real estate industry.

2. Collect your enrolment documents and apply
Here is a list of the required documents for your enrolment application.
- Enrolment Form completed in full, signed by yourself.
- Certified copy* of your New Zealand/ Australian passport or birth certificate
* Certified copy is a photocopy, photograph or scanned copy that has been endorsed as a true copy of the original. To be certified, the document must be certified by an official of the issuing authority or a Justice of the Peace, Barrister or Solicitor of the High Court or Court Official (Court Registrar or Deputy Registrar. The document must have the official’s signature on each page with the name and title of the official shown clearly below their signature. No, the course is fully online with support from your Training Advisor
When does the Salesperson L4 course end?
The NZ Certificate in Real Estate (Salesperson) (Level 4) takes 6 months to complete from the date you start. You can complete it faster.
I’m not currently working for a real estate agency. Can I still enrol?
Yes, you can still enrol in the course. You don’t have to be working in the industry to enrol.
Can I complete the course offline, or do I need a computer?
You will need a computer, an internet connection and Microsoft word to complete this course.
How do I make payment?
You will receive payment details with your letter of offer after you submit your enrollment form and certified passport. Payments are made through Public Trust, ensuring your money is secure.
Can I print learning resources?
No, all resources are online and cannot be downloaded.
Do I need an NCEA qualification to apply?
No, you do not need an NCEA qualification.
